Record-setting heat wave did not stop CC volunteers

It was a record-setting heat wave during a spring weekend in 2022. The dedicated Charity Crossing volunteers would not give up helping our community. Adil Ameen, our volunteer was holding a box over his head to get some shade. THANK YOU, Adil and fellow CC volunteers, for serving our community this weekend. These volunteers get energy from the smiles of the people they help.

We thank Dot Foods for donating frozen Honey Baked Hams and frozen cakes. We treated 80+ families in Delaware including moms, kids, and veterans.

We thank Amazon.com and Walmart for donating household donations which benefitted 100s of families this weekend.

Murali, Srini, and Siva visited from New Jersey. They like to open community giveaway distribution locations in New Jersey. Let’s wish them the best.
