Holidays are a time to spread cheer to everyone around us. That is exactly what Charity Crossing did in partnership with the New Castle County police department. With a group of about 60 volunteers split between two locations, Charity Crossing hosted a giveaway of dresses, school supplies, masks, hand sanitizer, and food boxes, bringing smiles to peoples’ faces.

Even though it was cold Saturday morning, all volunteers arrived at the distribution location sharply at 8:15 am. They rolled up their sleeves and started to set up. Within an hour they transformed the location. They cheerfully greeted people and provided assistance with whatever was needed. They worked tirelessly and passionately throughout the day and made this event a success. Representatives from Christiana Care joined us to help with COVID-19 screening.

Charity Crossing thanks everyone who helped make this event a success and is thankful to have been given this opportunity to spread some joy during this holiday season.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving and happy holidays.
