Fourth-year in a row, Charity Crossing conducted Adopt-a-Family during holiday seasons.  It brought cheers to fourteen families.  Each family received an average of $50 worth of holiday gifts.   A touching message was from a family: we don’t need things, we just need help keeping our home. If you choose us, we would greatly appreciate a $50 donation toward rent.   My daughter has been through enough trauma, she doesn’t need to become homeless again and every penny matters.
