The inaugural partnership between Charity Crossing and Arcadia University, Pennsylvania in Glenside, PA was a resounding success.
Today, October 16, we successfully served 244 community members who were incredibly appreciative and cooperative. They received clothing, household items, packaged food, bookbags, exercise items, school supplies, and Earth Breeze laundry sheets. The gratitude and happiness expressed by everyone was truly heartwarming.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff of Arcadia University for their support in securing a U-Haul, transporting donations back to Pennsylvania, and setting up the space for us. Special thanks to Ms. Staci-Jo Palek (SJ), Ms. Allannah Giles, Mrs. Christine Stortch, and Mrs. Dana Daines for their invaluable help and warm welcome. We would also like to personally thank Arcadia’s President, Mr. Ajay Nair, for his presence at the giveaway. Your support and engagement truly made the event special.
We also want to extend our gratitude to the CC warehouse volunteers for their hard work in sorting and packing donations. A special thank you to Mukul Sharma for creating the QR code for ticketing, and a huge shoutout to our president Jay Muthukamatchi for authorizing and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure this event’s success. Your efforts made a real difference for everyone involved!
