Happy to share with you some good news. Charity Crossing participated in the Lt. Governor’s health Hero/Leader challenge. It was a tough competition. We competed with the University of Delaware, Nemours Hospital, and many more great organizations in Delaware. We were recognized for our effort to help the people healthy. We are soon going to reach 100,000 volunteer service hours. That means 100,000 on-the-move hours. Increasingly, we spend our lives sitting on a chair or couch. CC’s initiatives are making volunteers move and stay healthy. Next year, we will work toward getting the award.
