Charity Crossing wishes the Community a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year. At this wonderful time of the year, we thank our donors, partners, and volunteers who helped bring this joy to fellow community members. It is a blessing to bless others. We are instilling and spreading the joy of giving.
In December, we hosted 78 giveaway events (21 Christmas giveaways, 37 regular weekly giveaways, and 20 sorting loading, and unloading events at Warehouse) in four states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. During this time our volunteers gave 2,161 service hours despite bad weather, and donors may have given roughly $28,500 monetary donations. These helped us serve at least 4,000 families who received roughly $200,000 worth of donations. We expanded to service more new communities.
